I really enjoy listening to & experiencing music. My musical tastes are rather eclectic and range from Classical to Dance music.

For me, one of the most fantastic things about music is the way it can enhance or change a mood and I really enjoy listening to music that reflects how I am feeling. This is especially so when I am in a great or pumped mood.

From a very early age, I have enjoyed music and cannot imagine life without it. As a child, I would sit out in the backyard listening to the radio escaping into my own fantasy world. Or I would record the various countdown shows so I could listen to my favourite bands again & again.

During my childhood, my mother would take me to see the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and it was these experiences, which developed my appreciation for classical music.

I really enjoy live music and my first rock concert was the Violent Femmes. Since then I have pretty much seen the Violent Femmes each time they play Auckland.

One of the best performances I have seen would be Rammstein playing Auckland Big Day Out in 2011. They were amazing.
